We are sad to announce that on October 15, 2025, at the age of 80, Arnold Houston Short of Bethpage, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alma Blankenship Short and Edgar Short; his former wife Wanda Short; and his siblings, James Short and Betty Knepshield.
He is survived by: his wife Tammy Short; his children, Troy Short (Jamie) of Gallatin and Tina Gentry (James) of Lancaster; his stepsons, Britt Little (Heather) of Westmoreland and Drew Smith (Nickole) of Bethpage; his siblings, Donald Short (Deana) of Oklahoma, Edna Rolin of Lebanon and Carol McDonald of Florida; his grandchildren, Adam Balch (Salina), Jerremy Stubblefield, Paisley Smith, Paxton Smith, Ayden Little and Emma Little; and his great grandchildren, Franklin, Ezra and Lillian Balch.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM, on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM and from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gallatin (100 Albert Gallatin Ave, Gallatin, TN 37066). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
