He was predeceased by: his parents, William Arnette and Ruth Gann Carter; and his siblings, Joe, Willie, Jeff Carter, Jelayne Rolin and Joyce Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Tammy Watson Carter; and his siblings, Bill Carter-Lafayette (Brenda), Cecil Carter, Teresa Davis, Katie Scruggs (Ronnie), Debbie Woodard-Hartsville (Steve) and Brenda Jones-Hartsville. He is also survived by Numerous Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Anthony Funeral Home (337 E McMurry Blvd, Hartsville, TN 37074). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Willow Grove Cemetery.
