She was predeceased by : her parents, Harry Bowen and Carrie Wilson Bowen; her husband Melvin Windle; and her siblings, Richard Bowen, Harry Bowen, Nora Caldwell and Mary Smith.
She is survived by : her daughter Karen Thomas (Steven) of Bethpage; her grandchildren, Tamme Sterling, Sandi Thomas (Daniel Kirby) and Rory Thomas (Laura); her great grandchildren, Kayla Grimes, Aaron Duerksen, Alexis Vogan, Wyatt Gollhier, Bailey Gollhier, Mike Charriez and JozaLynn Velez; and her great great grandchildren, Riley Grimes, MacKenzie Grimes and Ryker Vogan.
