He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Robinson and Ruth Elaine Osborn Robinson; and his brothers, James "Bubba" Robinson, Ronnie Robinson and Billy Robinson.

He is survived by: his children, Melissa Dickie (Ken) of Gallatin, TN, Jay Robinson (Jennifer) of Big Sandy, TN, Jeremy Robinson (Autumn) of Puryear, TN, Joel Robinson (Deidra Wilford) of Hazel, KY and Brandon Robinson (Keely) of Smyrna, TN; his sister Mildred Jane Curd of Murray, KY; and his grandchildren, Gage Davis (Sydney), Jaycie Robinson, Zoey Robinson and Weston Robinson.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to the Pleasant Hill Methodist Church 1531 Pleasant Hill Rd, Camden, TN 38320.
