It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxine Phifer of Big Sandy, Tennessee, who passed away on July 18, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hulon Kenneth Robins and Jessie Cole Robins; her husband Harold Phifer; and her siblings, Joe Robins, George Robins, Coy Robins and Carolyn French.

She is survived by: her children, Harold Lynn Phifer (Cindy) of Paris, TN, James Kevin Phifer (Tracy) of Springville, TN, Jamie Ryan Phifer of Big Sandy, TN and Melanie Gipson of Big Sandy, TN.; and her siblings, Steve Robins of Big Sandy, TN. and Patsy Clary of Springville, TN..

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Stockdale Funeral Home - BIG Sandy (13625 TN-69A, Big Sandy, TN 38221). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
