It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Pierce Evans of Big Sandy, Tennessee, born in Benton, Tennessee, who passed away on October 2, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaac Pierce and Zonia Bell Young Pierce; her husband Verner Evans; her siblings, Ray Pierce and Elizabeth Goldman; and her grandchildren, Jeff Evans and Megan Cox.

She is survived by: her children, Paula Evans Cox and Gary Evans; her sister Jean Royster; her sister-in-law Joan Pierce; her grandchildren, Rebecca Leathers (Corey), Joe Evans (Casey) and Stephanie Liebner (Mike); and her great grandchildren, Eli, Noah, Loralei and Eleanor Along.

All Covid protocols including masks and social distancing required.
