Floyd leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Floyd’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Floyd will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis; his parents, Bruce and Cora; and his sister Elizabeth Hoffner. He is survived by: his daughter Angela Graves (Alan); his grandson Justin Graves (Megan); and his sister Maglene Murray. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bridges Funeral Home (5430 Rutledge Pike, Knoxville, TN 37924). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 2:15 PM and at 2:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Floyd's honor to a charity of your choice.
