He was predeceased by: his father Jace Flatt; his former wife Bernice Flatt; his son Rick Flatt; and his grandchildren, Kenneth Daniel Flatt, Casey Lane Kirby and Steven Bryce Bruffy.
He is survived by: his daughters, Teresa Denise Fields (Tim Fields), Kimberly Sue Flatt, Vicky Ann Flatt and Karen Michelle Flatt; and his grandchildren, Timothy Jason Fields (Niki), Jeremy Ray Fields (Niki), Nanika Michelle Fields, Jordan Fields (LeeAnn) and Erin Rachelle King. He is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, along with a host of other family members and special friends.
