She was predeceased by: her husband George Wells; and her daughter Patricia Parsons. She is survived by: her children, Michael Chapman (Peggy) and Sherry Wells (Jim Marsh); her grandchildren, Zackary Chapman, Joel Chapman, Shannon Marsh McCall and Kristi Marsh Harkelroad; her great grandchildren, Micah, Isaiah, Opie, Lilian, Lexi and Kelsey; her great great grandchild Scarlett; and her siblings, Clyde "Buck" Chapman (Bennie Rae), Jerry Chapman (Christy) and Patsy Christian. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
