He was predeceased by: his wife Lucille Delph Snapp; his parents, Roy Snapp and Mary Snapp; and his siblings, Doug Snapp and Carolyn Snapp Scherer.

He is survived by: his children, Melissa Snapp Shelby and Bill Snapp; his grandchildren, Mitchell Snapp (Raegan), Tanner Shelby, Jacob Shelby and Morgan Snapp Newell (Jason); his great grandchildren, Hazel Snapp and Fearne Snapp; his siblings, Herb Snapp, Mary Ann Reese, Ethel Smawley, Cathy Hughes, Ester Toohey and Susan Snapp; and his close friends, John, Helen Pennington, Joe and Patsy Higgins. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
