He is survived by: his children, Carl Johnson Jr. "JJ" (Renae), Tammy Keller, Robin Laney (Bubba) and Susan Story; his siblings, Helen Babb (Jimmy), Dinah Hodge and Frank Johnson (Delores); and his grandchildren, Amanda Greene, Buck Johnson, Mathew Johnson, Jason Johnson, Caleb Johnson, Malayna Johnson, Michael Thorpe, Jeremy Laney, Joseph Laney, Ashley Logan and Justin Brickey. He is also survived by 28 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
