He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Archer and Lula Archer; and his wife Carolyn Archer. He is survived by: his children, Megan Archer (Joe Wignall) and Brian Archer (Amanda); his brother Jack Archer; and his grandchildren, Nathan Archer, Jack Light, Jordan Light, Reagan Light and Amelia Light. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the Sullivan County Humane Society P.O. Box 922 Kingsport, TN 37662.
