It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Nathaniel Underwood (Blountville, Tennessee), born in Whigham, Georgia, who passed away on October 31, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Rev. James Underwood; his wife Margaret Frances; and his siblings, Mary Blalock, Dr. Lois Beach, Barbara Withrow, Rev. James Underwood Jr., Joe Underwood, Paul Underwood, Emanuel Underwood and Samuel Underwood.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda (Jerry Lively), Debbie (Joe Chadwell), Sherri (Jeff Rhea) and Ron (Linda Underwood); his grandchildren, Courtney Rhea, Ty, Jeremy Lively, Brandon, Justin and Lance Chadwell; his great grandchildren, Will, Charlie, Chase Lively, Mary Kate Lively, Collin, Landon, Harrison, Rowan Chadwell and Kendyl; and his siblings, Virginia Peters and Melvin Underwood. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
