Franklin Thompson Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on December 7, 2025, at the age of 92, Franklin Thompson of Blountville, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Miller Thompson and Treola Thompson; and his siblings, Pauline Fleenor, Kathleen Smith, J. D., J. R. and Samuel "Bud" Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Emma Thompson; his siblings-in-law, Leona Gibson, Judy Pope, Darlene Garrett (Charlie) and Ardean Willen; and his niece Cathy Hubbard. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, it would please the family that donations be made to Sunnyside Baptist Church c/o Building Fund 406 Cooks Valley Rd. Kingsport, Tennessee 37664.
