He was predeceased by: his parents, Simon R. Branham and Vivian Hughes Branham; his wife Mary Jacqueline Minton Branham; and his son Fred R. Branham, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Cathy Sutherland (David), Tamara Paige Branham-Johnson and Michael Helton (Penny); his siblings, Peggy Dutton, Linda Renfro (Mike) and Johnny Branham; his siblings-in-law, Ann Sutherland (Harvey) and Iggy Grear (Kristy); his grandchildren, Cassidy Helton (Kayla), Corey Helton, Hillary Grizzle, Courtney Grizzle, Jullian Branham, Sara Branham, Thomas Slaughter, Hannah Slaughter and Allen Skyler Johnson; and his close friend Sue Leonard. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Castlewood Funeral Home (80 Donnie Dean Dr, Castlewood, VA 24224). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Temple Hill Memorial Park (2529 Memorial Dr, Castlewood, VA 24224).
