He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry Blackburn and Peggy McCroskey Blackburn; his sons, Brian Eugene Blackburn and Mark Howard Blackburn; and his sisters, Barbara Henry and Marcella Stidham.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Blackburn; his daughter Sheila Jones; his grandchildren, Lucas Fleming and Lacey Jones Waldron (Willie); his great grandchildren, Adleigh and Chloe Waldron; and his brother Tony Blackburn (Sally). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Blountville United Methodist Church (3390 TN-126, Blountville, TN 37617). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the East Tennessee Cemetery (2630 TN-75, Blountville, TN 37617).
