He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Garrison and Marian Garrison; his former wife Becky L. Garrison; and his brother Russell (Garrison). He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Garrison; his daughters, Alexa Hildner (Evan), Ava Garrison, Hayley Miller (Nick) and Kelsey McElravy (Anthony Horton); his grandchildren, Brooklyn, Ella Kate, Amelia and Theodore Miller; his daughter Credence Horton; his sisters, Cindy Raihl (John) and Ginny Garrison; and his sister-in-law Tricia Garrison.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Providence Academy, 2788 Carroll Creek Rd. Johnson City, TN 37615, for a Harkness Table to be donated in memory of Rex, or donations to Rex and Jennifer’s foundation “Keep Moving”, 133 Forest Lane South, Blountville, TN 37617.
