He was predeceased by: his mother Susie Baker; his sister Earlene Baker; his sons, Joe Inscoe, William Inscoe, Jeff Inscoe and Guita Inscoe; and his grandchildren, Joey Inscoe, Aaron McCloud and Destiny Roller.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Baker; his children, Michael Baker (Michelle), Shane Baker (Jennifer), Angie Davis (Rickey), Sandra Bright (Dwayne), Amy McCloud (Danny), Stacy Byrns (Ed) and Sarah "Beck" Mitchell (Jake); his granddaughter Kaelyn "KaeKae"; and his sisters, Margaret Raby, Judy Chandler (David), Phyllis Wilson, Jackie Skidmore and Connie Briggs (Jimmy). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes (117 E Charlemont Ave, Kingsport, TN 37660). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
