In loving memory of Carole Ann Miller in Bluff City, Tennessee, who departed this world on July 7, 2025 at the age of 86. Carole Ann leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Ryden Bates and Clarice Wiles Bates; and her sister Jean Smith (Ed Smith). She is survived by: her husband Mike; her children, Mary Scott Miller of Boston and Stephen Michael Miller (Margaret Callcott) of Kingsport, Tennessee.; her grandchildren, Mina Ryden Wagner of Hirosaki, Japan, Thomas Gray Wagner of Boston Massachusetts and Ella Falwell Miller of Kingsport, Tennessee.; her nephew Kevin Smith (Chantelle); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Ryden (Jordan), Coleman, Lincoln and Brynna; and her caregiver Mary Brackett. She is also survived by nephews and dear cousins.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Bluff City United Methodist Church (468 Cedar St, Bluff City, TN 37618).
