She was predeceased by: her parents, James Herbert Stewart and Shirley Stewart (Stafford). She is survived by: her husband J. Douglas Buchanan; her daughter Leslie Ann Heckford (Jerry); her brothers, Bobby Joe Stewart (late Margaret Stewart) and James Herbert Stewart (Brenda); her grandchildren, Erik Heckford (Emily), Lindsey Cooper (Logan) and Will Heckford; and her great grandchild Madeline Jess.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (233 Main St, Bluff City, TN 37618). A celebration of life was held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 1:30 PM at the McKinney Cemetery (932 Paddle Creek Rd, Bristol, TN 37620).
