She was predeceased by : her father John B. Spencer; her former life partner Clarence Mahala; her husband Kenneth H. Rogers; and her sisters, Thelma Greer and Doris Hartley.

She is survived by : her siblings, Mary Phillips Norris and James B. Spencer (Becky). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
