It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gary Carr of Bluff City, Tennessee, born in Elizabethton, Tennessee, who passed away on December 16, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Carr and Pearl Carr (Bullock); and his siblings, Ralph of Loni, W. J., Ivan (Sam), Edna Smith, Jean Perry, Pauline Campbell, Jewel Blevins and Molly Caldwell.

He is survived by : his wife Susan Nave Carr; his children, Brooke Carr and Tara O'Dell (Andy); his grandchildren, Conan James and Laura Kate O'Dell; and his siblings, Bud, Terry Carr, Joann Smith, Velma Hicks, Betty Rutherford and Glennie Asher. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
