Jim left this world on April 22, 2026 at the age of 79, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, James C. Guy and Lona McGhee Guy; and his grandson Garrett Boyd. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Guy; his children, Jimmy Guy (Karen), Shannon Jones, Amber Bates (Doug) and Issac Guy; his grandchildren, Ashleigh Morenings (Josh), Brandon Guy, Kaitlyn Franklin, Nicholas Campbell, Dakota Capps, Bailee Slusher and Kya Bates; and his siblings, Mike Guy, Jane Broyles and Julie Miller (Dallas). He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Monday, April 27th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hamlett Dobson Funeral Home and Memorial Park (2630 TN-75, Blountville, TN 37617).
