He was predeceased by : his father Jim Stipes; his wife Geneva Claude Stipes; his brothers, Clyde Stipes and Clifton Stipes; his half-brother Jay Ketchum; and his sister Betty Hammons.
He is survived by : his children, Jackie Wayne Stipes of Jackson, TN and Debbie Sue Stipes of Bluff City, TN; his nephew Maxwell Hodge Jr.; and his sister Patsy Jobe of Bluff City, TN.. He is also survived by Several other nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces.
