She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellick Birchfield and Bonnie Townsend Birchfield; her siblings, Cecil Birchfield, Worley Birchfield, Jim Birchfield, Steve Birchfield, Ruby Guinn and Jean Lund; and the father of her children Roger Whaley.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Cagle; her siblings, Shirley Smith, Judy Davenport (Donnie), Joyce Richmond (George), Kathy Humphrey (Wayne), L. J. Birchfield (Teresa) and Charlie Birchfield (Patti); her sons, Don Whaley (Valerie), Mike Whaley (Charlene), John Whaley (Lisa) and Wesley Whaley (Michelle); her grandsons, Michael Whaley, Jr., Sydney and Reign Jones; her stepchildren, Angie Jannenga (Danny) and Andy Cagle; her stepgrandchildren, Josh Jannenga and Katelyn Poteet; her nieces, Candace Cagle Gurley and Tracie Huffman; her nephew Mark Davenport; her cousin Mary Burleson; her great-nephews, Jac Gurley and Miles Monyak; her sisters-in-law, Jeanne Bowers (Roger) and Joyce Treadway; and her close friend Bruce Miller. She is also survived by three great grandchildren.
