He was predeceased by: his father Louis Slate. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Alexis Slate-Dingus and Jordan Slate; his grandchildren, Hazelee and Ares; his mother Brenda Mason Beverly; and his sister Dianne Slate-Blair.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sunrise Cemetery (719 Dry Branch Rd, Bluff City, TN 37618).
