He was predeceased by: his father Marvin Eugene Shelby; and his sisters, Millie McGlothern (Ellis) and Lannie Broodway (Thaxton). He is survived by: his wife Marlies Shelby; his children, Les Shelby and Patricia Shelby; his grandchildren, Brent Shelby (Amanda), Lance Shelby (Mandy), Bo Johnson and Rachel Pardue (Jacob); and his great grandchildren, Braiden, Blake Johnson, Waylon Pardue, Scarlett, Lucas and Lilliana Shelby.
