He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac M. Cross and Bonnie C. Hatch Cross; his sisters, Ann Sammons and Joyce Kay; his brother-in-law Eddie Smith; his grandson Justin Ridley; and his siblings' children, Michelle LaCroix, Chris Bolin, Joey Owens and Glenn Williamson.
He is survived by: his wife Betty C. Fish Cross; his stepdaughters, Joyce Hampton (Greg) of Hornsby, Patricia Ridley (Wade) of Whiteville and Daisy German (Glenn) of Somerville; his siblings, Linda King (John) of Corinth, MS, Sandra Carroll (Gawaine) of Bolivar, Teresa Smith of Brownsville and Tommy Cross (Wanda) of Collierville; his grandchildren, Angel Bowden, Rebecca Pittsley, Jordan Ridley, Danielle Claunch and Joshua German; his great-nephew Austin Cossar; and his nephew Bruce.
