He is survived by: his wife Deloris; his children, Michael Williams (Carolyn) of St. Louis, Demetrius Hudson of Nashville, TN, Shanda Dotson of Jackson, TN and Reggie Dotson of Oakland, TN; his godson Britton Smith (Kia) of Fort Washington, MD; his grandchildren, Jonias, Janylah Dotson, Maya Williams and Myisha Williams; his great grandchildren, Bryan Tyus Jr., Haylee Tyus, Makiya Williams and Amari Morrison; his siblings, Edna Dotson Ford of Bolivar, TN and George T. Dotson (Brenda) of Whiteville, TN; and his niece Tangie Dotson.
