He is survived by: his mother Mable Dacus Smith Hopper of Bolivar; his children, John Shaw of Jackson, Jessica Shaw of Jackson, Casey Herman of Selmer and Carrie Smith of Selmer; his sister Priscilla Stanford (O'Neal Escue) of Henderson; and his grandchildren, Dwon Woods, Arianna Stricklin, Ahnalee Shaw, Addison Smith, Bella Herman and Adalynn Smith.
