Leon Franklin Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leon Franklin (Bolivar, Tennessee), born in Shamrock, Texas, who passed away on March 26, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elza Franklin and Effie Lee White Franklin; his wife Reba Ruth Franks; and his sons, Wayne Leon Franklin and Thomas Leon Franklin.

He is survived by: his children, Roberta Winkler of Savannah, Rebecca Franklin of Savannah, Brenda Sullivan of Nashville and James Franklin (Tonya) of Savannah, Tennessee. He is also survived by grandson whom he thought of as a son; eight grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.
