It is with sadness that the passing of Lois C. Herndon in Bolivar, Tennessee is shared. Lois, born on December 4, 1932, passed away on June 11, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Lois will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Lois by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Lois is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Lois’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Thomas Cotton and Annie Hamby Cotton; and her husband William R. Herndon. She is survived by: her children, Frank Herndon (Lisa), Tony Messina (Hilda), Carol Hardee Cline of Seattle and Theresa McReynolds (Steve); and her sister Margaret Durham of Kentucky.
