He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Ancle and Dorothy Louise Banks Franks; his wife Marsha Lee Johnson; and his brother Timothy Franks. He is survived by: his sons, Chad Franks of Los Angeles, Casey Franks of Savannah and Chase Franks of Savannah, Tennessee; his stepdaughters, Teresa Dhnodt of Huntingdon and Sherry Meyer of Eads, Tennessee; and his sisters, Sharon Rogers of Reagan and Kristi Ison of Lexington, Tennessee. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
