It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Harris Walton Sr. (Bolivar, Tennessee), who passed away on August 7, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Albert Walton and Mabel Irene Shinault Walton; and his wife Bonnie Mae Gadd. He is survived by: his children, Brenda Owens (Danny) of Collierville, Tim Walton (Susan) of Collierville and Genie Dorman (Phil) of Lakeland; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Marsha, Matthew, Nathaniel, Zachary, Ryan, Kelsie, Addison, Kennedy and Gavin; his great grandchildren, Lily, Eden, Kaden and Lynnly Mae; his siblings, Margaret Vance, Fred Walton (Barbara), Thomas Walton and Janie Jones; his children, Bob and Mary; and his siblings, Opal, Charles, Jimmy, William, Frank, Joe and Ted.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Parrans Chapel Baptist Church (9400 Old Hwy 64, Bolivar, TN 38008). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Parrans Chapel Church Cemetery (9400 Old Hwy 64, Bolivar, TN 38008).
