He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Slatten and Nannie Belle Mason Slatten; and his brother Jerald "Butt Cutt" Slatten. He is survived by: his wife Faye Green Slatten; his daughters, Kim Savage (Alex), Wendy Quick (Dillard), Morgan Quick and Keegan Quick; his brother Alfred Reed Slatten of Lebanon; Zander Savage. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
