He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Steele and Jessie Aslin Steele; his wife Carolyn Steele; and his grandson Alex Joshua Steele. He is survived by: his sons, Charles Keith Steele (Michelle) of Bradford and Paul Anthony Steele (Lori) of Kenton; his grandchildren, Jacquelyn Michelle Denton (Jason), Charles Andrew Steele (Emily), Noah Stafford and Luke Stafford; and his great grandchildren, Cooper Denton, Jaselyn Denton, Scarlett Steele, Caroline Steele, Vivienne Steele and Charles Anderson Steele.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Hunt Funeral Home Chapel (223 E Main St, Bradford, TN 38316). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at the Oliver's Chapel Cemetery.
