It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Minnie Aileen Scott (Bradford, Tennessee), born in Gibson, Tennessee, who passed away on May 30, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Rozell Scott; her parents, John James and Grace James; her siblings, Wylodean Hays, Betty Blackburn, Glyn James, John Jr. James and Joan Lawerence; and her son-in-law Charlie Cochran.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Cochran and Johnny Scott (Patrica); her grandchildren, Shane Cochran (Tonya), Johnny Scott Jr. and Tanna Atchley (Scott); her great grandchildren, Alex (Casey) of Karson, L. J. and Joshua; and her great great grandchildren, Steely and Davis. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hunt Funeral Home Chapel (223 E Main St, Bradford, TN 38316). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hunt Funeral Home (223 E Main St, Bradford, TN 38316). A burial will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.
