John L. Lackey Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John L. Lackey of Brentwood, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 25, 2025 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John L. Lackey to pay them a last tribute.
Though John may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny L. Lackey and Jewel Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Lackey; his children, John David Lackey and Melissa Dawnn Smith (Richard); and his grandchildren, Madeleine and Caleb Smith.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Williamson Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service (3009 Columbia Ave, Franklin, TN 37064).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tunnel to Towers.
