He was predeceased by: his parents, John William Downs and Elizabeth Emerson Downs (McRae); his wife Evelyn Downs; his brother Frank G. Downs (Edward "Ned" Downs); and his son William Brian Downs.
He is survived by: his son March; his former wife Rose Cade (Crumby); his granddaughter Elle Downs; his wife Runez Downs (Owen); his children, Frank Downs (Susan), Lisabeth "Beth" Downs Holmes (Ken Holmes) and Cindy Owen; and his grandchildren, Chandler and Bailey Downs.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Brentwood Roesch Patton Funeral Home (9010 Church St E, Brentwood, TN 37027). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
