He was predeceased by : his parents, Claude Thweatt Jones Jr. and Juanita Jones Fudge (Osborne); his wife Joyce Atkinson Jones; and his stepfather Maurice Eugene Fudge. He is survived by : his children, Erin Jones of Brentwood, TN, Matthew Jones (Julie) of Jacksonville, NC and Kevin Jones (Michele) of Franklin, TN; his siblings, Becky Hinkle of Springfield, TN and Eric Fudge (Jill); and his grandchildren, Patrick, Emma, Sam Meadows, Sasha, Zoe, Hunter Jones, Charlie and Lauren Jones.
