It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruel Oquindo of Brentwood, Tennessee, who passed away on March 18, 2025, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Ruel shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Ruel farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his father Jose Reyes Oquindo. He is survived by: his wife Robin White Oquindo; his mother Filomena Vasquez Oquindo; his sister Roceliza Oquindo Devost (Patrick); his daughter Erin Oquindo Lavender (Nathan); his stepsons, Josiah Bradford Garton (Sarah) and Thomas Jefferson Garton (Emma); and his granddaughters, Bonnie Lynne Garton and Sophia Vivian Garton.
