He is survived by: his wife Mary Carter; his daughter Kelli Copeland (Joey); his granddaughters, Denise Jovel Umberger (Ever), Tiffany Umberger and Trisha Umberger (Tim Hopper); and his sisters, Helen Putt, Libby Whitten and Emily Littlejohn. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
