He is survived by : his siblings, Tennie Curtis and Wayne Batiste; his stepson Kippie Brown; his nephews, David Batiste, Jeremiah Batiste and Tyler Batiste; and his niece Amber Mann. He is also survived by four great-nieces and two great-nephews.
