Bobby Barr Obituary

We announce the death of Bobby Barr in Bristol, Tennessee, who passed away on July 21, 2026, at the age of 92. Bobby will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamine Barr and Pearlie Felty Barr; his siblings, Billy Barr, Lee Barr, Launa Ridgeway, Nancy Howell and Phyllis Williams; and his son Charles Wayne Gibson.

He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Barr; his children, Regina Lynn Ridgeway, Judy Marlene Wilson, Mark Barr and Robin Renee Hill (Stephen); his siblings, Mark Barr, Joyce Williams, Jackie Bailey and Vicky Denton; his grandchildren, Ami Moore, Kristina Barr, Laura Singer and Brittany Barr; and his great grandchildren, Ella Singer, Maya Singer, Josiah Morton and Jacob Morton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be sent to Shriners Childrens' in memory of Bobby.
