He was predeceased by: his parents, Dolphus Boardwine and Rosa Boardwine. He is survived by: his wife Reba Carolyn Boardwine; his children, Allen Boardwine (Renee) and Sissy Rachel (Steve); his grandchildren, Sarah Rachel, Christopher Boardwine and Bethany Boardwine; his great grandchildren, Ava Marie and Isla Lee Boardwine; and his brother Frank Boardwine. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and special friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Oakley-Cook Funeral Home (2223 Volunteer Pkwy, Bristol, TN 37620). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mountain View Cemetery (2090 Valley Dr, Bristol, VA 24201).
