He was predeceased by : his parents, Samuel Highley and Emma Gertrude Humphries Saul; his wife Anna Katherine "Kat" Abel Saul; his siblings, Francis Saul, Dorothy Saul, Samuel Saul (Mary), James "Jim" Saul (Beulah), Thomas Saul and Doris Stevens McCracken; and his grandson-in-law Raymond "Bo" Miller.

He is survived by : his daughters, Barbara Katherine (Damon) of Abingdon, VA. and Linda Price of Bristol, TN; his grandchildren, Shannon Miller, Anna Boyd Bralley (Darren), Clark Boyd (Jada), Lee Boyd and Kati Patterson (Derrick); his great grandchildren, Abigail Grace Miller, Wilson Patrick Boyd, Spencer Daniel Miller, Blair Ellen Boyd and Hadleigh Kate Patterson; and his uncle Pat. He is also survived by sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, and many generations of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Virginia Avenue Baptist Church, Gideons International, or your personal charity of choice.
