With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Daniel Cunningham Wysor (Bristol, Tennessee), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 17, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Daniel Cunningham departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Daniel Cunningham may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Daniel Cunningham leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Wysor and Lakie Hughes Wysor. He is survived by: his wife Faye Wysor; his children, Kevin Wysor (Tracie) and Stephanie Wysor; his grandchildren, Emma Wysor (Ethan Altizer) and Kannon Wysor (Skylar Fitzgerald); his brother Randy Hughes of Swordscreek, VA; and his children, Chuck and Carol Williams. He is also survived by family; and a host of friends.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Glenwood Cemetery (839 Bluff City Hwy, Bristol, TN 37620).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be sent to a military related organization or charity in remembrance of Dan and his service to our country.
