David W. Sims Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David W. Sims of Bristol, Tennessee, who passed away on March 10, 2025 at the age of 71. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David W. Sims to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Pierce Sims and Iona Sims; and his wife Tammy Sims. He is survived by: his children, Aaron Sims (Katelyn), Austin Sims (Austin), Hunter Sims (Makayla), Harrison Sims and Jessica Sims Cope (Aaron); his sister Judy Sims Fleenor (Phil); his grandchildren, Finley, Lincoln, Maddison, Aslan, Rhilynn, Nathaniel and Willa Kay; and his pet Grayson. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Akard Funeral Home Chapel (1912 W State St, Bristol, TN 37620). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Et Akard Funeral Home (1912 W State St, Bristol, TN 37620).
