It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dixie Kay Cook Sigmon of Bristol, Tennessee, who passed away on October 28, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Hershel Cook and Hettie McGraw Cook; and her husband Talmage Ray Sigmon, Sr.. She is survived by : her children, Cheryl Wedel (Mark) and Talmage Ray Sigmon, Jr. (Vickie); her grandchildren, Brandon Ellison (Margaret), Nicholas Sigmon (Alison), Alex Sigmon, Erica Little (David) and Sally Wedel; her great grandchildren, Owen, Rya, Lillian, Grant, Olivia and Samuel Ray; her siblings, Hershel Cook and Sharon McClung (Gary); and her caregiver Dixie. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Addilynn United Methodist Church (3225 Avoca Road, Bristol, Tennessee 37620) or the Ballad Hospice House of Bristol in loving memory of Dixie.
