He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorenzo Dow Strader and Olivia Swift Strader; and his siblings, Margaret Henshaw and Judson Strader. He is survived by: his wife Johnnie Lee Strader; his children, Lorenzo Dow Strader, III (Cindy), Ben Russell Strader, Karen Elizabeth Sousa (Tony), Dyan Yvonne Buck (Kevin), Laura Anne Hollis (Newcombe), Matthew Pendleton Helms, Katherine Lee Frey and Margaret Dobyns Finch (Greg); and his pet Molly. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
